The timing seems to be just fine on this setup. Yes it works. But the default install process tries to install the plug-in in a system directory (/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/components) instead of the user's home. Once installed as root it works. Is this a problem of the MNG plug-in or the general XPI installation process?
