Ok. The extra day did help to free some time, so here it is. CVS (within a few hrs) will contain the API calls and underlying code to support the push mechanisms for both arbitrary data and chunks. I haven't had time yet to test them at all, but at least regular reading still works. Please read the API comments carefully. They hold all my comments from before plus a bit more... Alex, if you could please check if it works for Mozilla, I'll be very grateful. But just start screaming right away if it doesn't! Ralph, I guess you're not quite ready to test yet, but if the pushdata() bit works, I'm pretty sure the pushchunk() stuff will function without too much of a hitch (it *is* a lot easier...)
