The header chunk could contain what's in their existing aNIm chunk plus canvas size. The signature could be the same as PNG's, except with "ANG" instead of "PNG". Their chunks should be "anIm" and "frAm" instead of "aNIm" and "fRAm" until such time as png-list approves them. To make a multiple-image PNG is to violate clause 5.2 of the PNG ISO spec.
