Yes, this would just be giving in to the spammers :-(. Drop the email address if you must, but keep the website. I was forced to close down the [email protected] address about a year ago because some variants of Klez and Sobig seem to reliably pick it up from IE's readme file :-(. I didn't just shut it down though, I arranged to bounce such mails with a useful 550 error code: Sep 14 23:49:13 sss2 sm-mta[3033]: ruleset=check_relay, arg1=sac1-2.relay.mail.uu.net, arg2=199.171.54.203, relay=sac1-2.relay.mail.uu.net [199.171.54.203], reject=550 5.0.0 jpeg-info is shut down due to too much spam. Contact tgl at sss.pgh.pa.us instead. I do still get some JPEG-related questions, so I believe real people manage to deal with this. Just FYI, at the peak of last week's Sobig infestation I was rejecting upwards of 100000 virus mails directed to jpeg-info per day (yes, I said one hundred thousand) ... so I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for people who can't cope with mere hundreds.
