I'm not Gabrielle, but I have a couple of small comments regarding the new master/shared layer paradigm. First, a little note in the documentation would be nice. I spent a non-zero amount of time looking for how to view masters when I upgraded this week. A simple search for "master canvas" might return a statement that there is a new sheriff in town and a link to shared layers. The search today returns nothing. Second, the need to lock the shared layer seems odd when viewed through the lens of a master canvas user. I could never select anything at the master level when working on a canvas, so I had to figure that out. It took a minute, but it would have been a nice addition to the "new sheriff" message I didn't find in the documentation. So a little better documentation is all I ask for on this. I'm sorry the shared layers aren't doing what you want. Can you go into more detail about what you were doing with master canvases that you can't do with shared layers? When we designed the shared layer feature, the plan was that they could do everything that master canvases did --- a shared layer is just like a master canvas that can only be at the bottom of the layer list. _______________________________________________ OmniGraffle-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/omnigraffle-users _______________________________________________ OmniGraffle-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/omnigraffle-users
