Hi Jacques,

I just tried setting my OmniGraffle "Select Shape Left" shortcut in  
Snow Leopard System Preferences to ⌥⇧⌘← and reopened  
OmniGraffle. Now ⌘← behaves as expected. Are you on Snow Leopard or  
an earlier version?
