We're happy to announce that OmniGraffle and OmniGraffle Professional =
5.4 have been approved by the Mac App Store, and are now available for =
download both there as well as on the OmniGroup website.

A quick recap of what has gone into this release:

- Adds 64-bit mode for those with the hardware and OS to support it
- Quick Look previews are back, they are dynamically generated from a =
plug-in inside the app instead of writing out a PDF to the file or file =
wrapper
- Stencil searching is now much more logical
- Shadow rendering is greatly improved
- Overall stability is much better when running in 64-bit mode
- New application icon (woo!)

*** Of Great Importance: 64-bit mode has changed the minimum Operating =
System Requirement to Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later. ***

Full release notes and download links can be found at =

Another important note: A regression in JPEG export was discovered while =
in review. The options for scale, resolution, and compression are no =
longer displaying. This has been addressed in an OmniGraffle 5.4.1 beta =
release, which can be found at =
http://www.omnigroup.com/products/omnigraffle/overview/#beta a little =
later today.

If you need to have those JPEG export options, it's recommended that you =
download the 5.4.1 beta or just stick with version 5.3.6 until 5.4.1 is =
approved and ready to go. We're planning on waiting a full week to catch =
any other critical issues that may be found in the 5.4 release and then =
submitting to the Mac App Store.

Cheers,
