Hey Randy!

Can you give some more details on what sort of interface you=E2=80=99re =
looking for?=20

OmniGraffle has an AppleScript API for actively querying / controlling =
the app, or there=E2=80=99s importing from .dot =E2=80=94 as you=E2=80=99v=
e already discovered =E2=80=94 which works well for initial generation =
and layout of graphs. There are also 3rd party tools for building =
Graffle documents which use the native file format like this one: =
<http://jpilgrim.github.io/eclipsetools/j2og/ =
<http://jpilgrim.github.io/eclipsetools/j2og/>>.

it=E2=80=99s possible to use OG programmatically, i.e. is there an API? =
I did see that it=E2=80=99s possible to import limited .dot files, so =
that=E2=80=99s something, but not what I=E2=80=99m hoping for.
