Problem with Amazon Web Service Linux and libpng-devel

Hello,

I'm a new developer trying to use this lib for a Laravel project. We've
opted for the Amazon Linux AMI distribution since we have some experience
with it.

Has anybody experience any problem with this setup? We are encountering
dependencies that requiere libpng-dev to be installed, but in this linux it
installs as libpng-devel. Has anybody found a solution for that or any
similar question?
