That is good.  Cosmin also has git push capability to the server at 
src.simplesystems.org (run by me, and was used as a secondary by 
Glenn) but the latest change I see there is from 2019-04-25 so it 
seems it is not up to date.  Perhaps it is only updated when a release 
occurs.

I don't know about SourceForge git merge requests but I have learned 
that SourceForge Mercurial merge requests are presented in a way that 
the maintainer might not even be aware that they exist.  This would be 
particularly true given that libpng is now more github-centric.
