It  does  not  matter. As long as libpng officially supports
DOS and Amiga, it must be usable on those operating systems.
As  to  your question, the active development of FreeDOS and
PD-DOS (written  entiely  in  C89)  makes  libpng  a  likely
choice for PNG manipulation.

I am sorry if I did. I did not mean to offend anybody. All I
wanted  was help in building this highly portable library in
my environment.
