This is an artefact of the prior approaches to source control.  It's
perhaps of historical interest so might be a candidate for inclusion in the
github archival project (if it isn't already) but even that seems
unnecessary complexity; all the "tags" in that project should exist in the
current pnggroup/libpng project and, because of the way Glenn did this, the
source tree should be identical to the tarball.

At present this approach is in the process of being abandoned, or maybe
already has been abandoned, in pnggroup/libpng; instead the source tree is
no longer identical to the distribution tarball and, I believe, the
distribution tarballs are only on sourceforge and *not*, so far as I can
see, on github.  A quick look at sourceforge suggests that it does contain
a historical record at least back to "0.71" (i.e. effectively 0.0.71 in the
new numbering scheme.)  Consequently that seems the right place to go to
for authoritative historical copies.

These are Glenn's private projects; nothing to do with libpng.  The last
update was to pngcrush 7 years ago.
