Indeed; the original proposal is sufficient.  I was mislead by the
*Magick implementation which erroneously includes the stuff from
T-REC-T.86-199806-I which is already covered by the ISO-PNG spec and
the recommendations for PNG private chunks.

Some explanation may be desirable, but it is editorial in nature.

At this point I suggest that it is time to start a vote on the
original proposal, which has not changed since December of last year.
It would be very Putin to call for such a vote myself, so I shall not
do so.
