I plan to call for a vote on eXIf after the two week discussion have elapsed, which will be Jan 30. I'll call for a vote on zXIf after *its* two weeks have elapsed, which will be 14 days after Jan 25. If eXIf (uncompressed) passes, which I expect will happen, then zXIf becomes moot. That is, according to the latest incarnation of the voting ruies (which are still unofficial!; I'll call for a vote on the current voting rules proposal soon (Jan 28, I think).
