Before anyone sneers at the ftp performance problems, recall that
SourceForge did the same thing to us for years.  Before I reorganized
the libpng directory structure, SourceForge would choke on the
large flat file system and send "script is busy -- continue?" or
something to that effect, which is essentially the same thing that
is happening when you try to browse the documents/history directory,
which has 450 or so files.
