So... I got a message somewhat like this:

So obviously I didn't click on that link (or, indeed, the one I received),
but I went to sourceforge.net and tried to subscribe using a *different*
email ([email protected]) and I found this requirement:

I can't do that; I told sourceforge some years ago (shortly after they
requested that I indemnify them against lawsuits on the free software I had
previously deposited on sourceforge) that they must cancel my account (they
didn't) delete any software they needed indemnification for (they didn't, I
think that would have included libpng) and, basically, foad.

So I thought I would post this before July 30 just so that everyone
understands why I just disappeared.
