Wolfram,

To include them in the sane documentation, we need user feedback.
I've added the doc for the list of devices that have been reported to me 
(http://www.sane-project.org/sane-backends.html, in the slave section), 
for the others I've added this link: 
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201311
Lastly, for escl, which is not present in dll.conf, it's a choice made 
by the Maintair of your distribution.
