Hi, I found on the supported devices list the Canon GX7000 USB scanner /PIXMA GX7000 USB 0x04a9/0x18a8 Untested Testers needed! pixma (0.28.6) sane-pixma/ I am pleased to announce you I have this printer. When I execute the sane-find-scanner, I see these informations => /found possible USB scanner (vendor=*0x04a9* [Canon], product=*0x18a8* [GX7000 series]) at libusb:001:003/ Vendor and product ids are correct. I also be able to find scanner with scanimage -L => /device `pixma:04A918A8_03359A' is a CANON Canon PIXMA GX7000 Series multi-function peripheral device `airscan:e0:Canon GX7000 series (USB)' is a eSCL Canon GX7000 series (USB) ip=127.0.0.1, ::1 / The question is what kind of test should I perform. Is there a process describe somewhere? I already found an issue. With xsane, the ADF is not correct with the pixma driver device (the AD Fis not duplex). But it is correctly defined with airscan device driver. I've not tested bjnp and mfnp protocol, But I think it will not work, because the port scanning on the scanner IP does not include 8610, nor 8612. Let me know what additional tests shall I perform. If you have any idea to correct the ADF type with pixma driver, I will test it. Regards. Tom
