Re: Dark problems with Plustek 7200i using sane & xsane

Further to this, I get the same issue with digikam, which I believe just 
uses the same sane/genesys backends as xsane??

- so I _guess_ the issue with this Plustek (film/slide scanner) may be 
there, rather than xsane per se.

In which case, is this forum the right place to ask for advice, or is 
there somewhere more appropriate?

(I also guess that vuescan, which works ok, does not use sane backends?)
