I am using xsane 0.999 on Fedora 41; it used to bring up any new scan window in a reasonable size, but now is always 100% zoom in a full-screen window, and I see no way to change this default, only to change each window after each scan. Possibly this is something that Redhat have done to modify xsane (xsane -v reports this package is modified from the original); I may have to contact bugzilla.redhat.com but the first thing seems to be there is nothing I can find in the online documentation nor the installed man pages (the -R option is not what is needed). I hope there is a way to change the default. Any help appreciated, Mark Aitchison, Christchurch New Zealand. ZL3TQE
