What I have installed and on my menu are ScanGear and XSane. Which one
is scanimage? Fedora has sane-backends and they're already installed.
As far as working in a Terminal, I was using C/PM and MS-DOS before they
had gooies. And, I've used scanners many times but never had this much
trouble setting one up. Here's the list of devices:
