Flickering Cursor

When using scribus 1.5.5 on macos Catalina, the cursor is constantly flickering during movement. Scribus is the only app showing this behavior. In fact the cursor switches by every pixel passed between the current tool cursor and the black arrow of the os. Is this a known bug of this development release? Is there a solution already? Or might Catalina be faulty? Thanks for your time.
