Dear Joe,

thank you for sharing. For sending to a commercial print-shop and for
laser-printing in-house, we always outline all fonts and have never had
isses. We often add "PR" to the file-name of the very lastest,
print-ready version and of course keep the Scribus file for potential
later editing or additional print-runs.

Hinting and searching are no issues in that context. And the fact that a
print-shop cannot edit, is our "insurance" against mistakes, as we are
dealing with an African minority language, and print-shops are never
qualified to change even punctuation for our orthography.

For many years I use version 1.5 which behaves very very well and always
keep version 1.4 on my machines for looking at older files and for
re-using old elements by copy and paste.

Go Scribus!

Martin
