I'm doing a book a lot like a cookbook full of recipe-like documents. I have most of the documents in a database that can export text and HTML. Pictures are included and exported in the HTML documents. What I would like to do (if I knew how) would be create templates for the book, chapters, and recipe-like documents. Then import them easily into the appropriate template. My hope is that the text and image frames are somehow named so that the document title goes to the Title frame, The supplies (ingredients) goes into the Supplies text frame (two columns with bullets), and the procedure steps goes into the Procedure (instructions) frame with numbers.

Can this be done, and how in general terms? No problem reading through the documentation once I know what to look for. This would be a great subject for a tutorial (hint hint).

Thanks,
Dave
