Strange... For me, importing text from LibreOffice into a Scribus text frame copies text only, no formatting at all. In some cases, when I have some formatting of a page or block of text which is easier to do with LibreOffice, I just create the PDF from LibreOffice and insert the PDF in Scribus : 1. either directly - but the text is converted into curves. 2. either into an image frame as link, better solution With option 2, display on screen is a bit blurred, but printing is perfect (providing you check the box "incorporate PDF/EPS, experimental"(1) And if I have to modify the text, I just modify it in LibreOffice, save it as PDF, and Sribus file is (nearly instantly) updated. Of course, it would be nice to be able to import text and retain italics, title styles, and things of that kind...
