I was really surprised about the progress what Sodipodi has made over these 2 years - it's really useful now and in overall great package! Congrats team and Lauris :) Good to see something of good free software [tm] comes from Baltics! :) I'm system integrator and support specialist (5 years with Linux and Libre Software, more with Unix). As I have one office which uses Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw on files which they get from publishing houses. They are printing logos on those paper bags and such things. And of coarse, as they have to pay about all software they using, they simply can't afford that. So they started to look for alternatives. At the begining I was a little sceptical about using SVG exporting from Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and then using Sodipodi SVG import. But at least after several tests I'm happy that is really reason to try more - at least all those several AI-to-SVG exported pictures where succesfully imported in Sodipodi. As I moving forward for more, real-life tests on customer boxes, I would like to ask for your expierence. Is there any showstoppers, any kind of problems I should be aware of? Any information would be greatful. Already thanks in advance and for Sodipodi, Peteris Krisjanis, SIA "Lintech" Main support specialist. ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
