Hello! Ill2svg (http://www.sodipodi.com/files/ill2svg.tgz), can do simple AI->SVG conversion. No gradients etc. but you'll get shapes and basic colors. I have not used it for ages, but the original SVG Tux for example, was converted with it (CDR->AI->SVG).
