If you select the outer object and then use the scale function of the "Object Transformations" dialog you should be able to get close. Check the "apply to duplicate" box and experiment. I had to scale by 75% in the X direction and 81% in the Y direction to get it to appear properly on my screen. If you do a little math, you should be able to determine the percentages that will give you the exact pixel/mm/etc. offset for the two objects. Bring up the "Object Size and Position" dialog and get the dimensions of the object, subtract out your borders and divide by the current size to get the percentages for both X and Y, e.g.: Width: 40mm with 5mm border, x scale factor is 40-(2*5)/40 * 100 = 75% Height: 52.5mm with 5mm border, y scale factor is 52.5-10/52.5 * 100 = 80.9% -- Lynn Kerby <mailto:[email protected]> ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
