placing guides

Hello,

I was wondering if there's a way to place guides at an exact position. I
didn't manage to do so yet, except for using the xml editor. I think if
there actually ain't a way to do so, it's very much missing since imho
it's one of the most important tasks of a guide to make the placement of
objects at an exact position on the spread sheet easier.
