Or, another idea, let's rephrase the gallery title page:

Here you can find colorful patterns and shapes you
can use in your own artworks. All resemblance with
real-world symbols and figures is purely coincidental :-)
NB! Some of these patterns and symbols may be
illegal or offensive in certain localities. You are
warned :-)

There was this discussion a while ago... Wasn't it decided that the 
collection would be categorized?

The pirate flags are also "evil" flags of course, but I'm glad they're 
there, along with e.g. the DDR flag, which is a thing of beauty in itself. 
I imagine that a "historic" category for all of these would be enough to 
offset the bad memories. Also the trans-national organizations (UN, NATO 
etc.) should be in a category of their own... plus "political" for flags 
like the anarcho-syndicalist flags etc.
