Hello!

If you want to contrubute images for sodipodi
about dialog, you are welcome :-) Since the
switch to SVG about dialog, there has been
constant lack of good images.
Another alternative woul dbe to scrap SVG about
dialog completely, and implement std. Gtk+ one,
as you suggested. Nowadays, when everyone is
turning SVG, SVG about dialog is not anything
that distinguishes sodipodi from masses anymore
anyways...

Speaking about anarchist flag... Sodipodi has
decided to remain independent in the world of
integrating and commercializing desktops
- and got punished because of that. I think it
deserves the right to hold high the black flag
of anarchy :-)

Best wishes,
Lauris Kaplinski

However, we could maintain the flag collection and provide links to
Wikipedia, rather than moving all the flags over to Wikipedia. (Or some
other encyclopedia, of course.)

If you want to talk about people being shocked by images, I was somewhat
shocked when I found that 0.34's "About Sodipodi" dialog was just the
anarchist logo. Could we fix that, please? If nothing else, it'd be
more useful to have a more typical dialog, with a URL and a copyright
notice.

(I don't want to get into a political argument about the merits of
anarchy, mind you. Just let it stand that I understand that anarchists
are pro-liberty, and that's good; I just don't think anarchy is a
practical way to achieve liberty.)
