Well, I'd say that more developers are means to get better
product, not goal itself :-/
But even what is 'better product' is unclear for me. On can
define it 'exactly like great commercial product, only free'
but I am not sure. There is full plethora of ways for software
development ranging from 'software club' to 'well targeted and
professionally managed FS project', and the success criterions
of one are not necessarily such for other.
