Forgot to mention: it's Unix-only.  I've tested it on RedHat 9 and on
Debian sarge; I haven't done anything towards making it work on
Windows.  I don't know whether there would be any particular problems or
not; most likely, if pygtk is available on Windows, then this stuff
should be doable, too.
