Corel used to distribute a free (as in beer) version of Corel DRAW for Linux for 
personal non-commercial use. But since they torpedoed their Linux product line, 
it doesn't seem to be available for download from http://linux.corel.com/ or 
anywhere else.

I haven't tried to use it, but the Skencil program (formerly Sketch) can 
supposedly import some Corel DRAW files.

Since Skencil has an SVG export tool, you could import into Skencil, and export 
as SVG.

There may be other file conversion paths, although probably all of them will be 
a little lossy. ImageMagick might be helpful in converting files:

...although they don't seem to support any Corel-native formats. Maybe Corel -> 
EPS -> SVG is a good way to go? I dunno.
