documentation?

Hello,

I love sodipodi, and used my first installation (under windows) for many a project, be
it of private nature or for my studies.
It is by far the best vector graphics program i've used 'till now,
especially concerning usability, features and fun.

Now I want to install the latest version with the appropriate GTK
libraries. I am not exactly what is commonly called a newbie, but even
after two hours of googling and searching www.sodipodi.com plus the
sourceforge page i was not able to find a gtk installer for windowsXP
that would do the job. I assume it's gtk what's wrong, cause my
problems started when i used another gtk package than initially
installed because i tried some other gtk-dependent app.
I still get an error message like

"...could not be started, because zlib-1.dll could not be found. ...".

I someone could point me to the right places, i'd be very grateful.

I just read the last messages on this list. I would very much regret
if sodipodi dies. Please start life-prolonging measures!
