Outline of Caliban, a Pane Based Window Manager

Hi All,

I've updated the wiki with a (very) brief outline of my ideas for a Y
Window Manager.
http://y-win-wiki.jciteassist.org/y-win-wiki/PaneBasedWindowManager

The main (and probably most controversial) point is that windows are
all displayed full screen by default, and that there will be no
minimise/maximise/move/resize commands needed.

To enable comparisons between documents, a system whereby the screen
can be split into two or four panes is used.

Obviously this is only a rough outline of my ideas (due to time
constraints I'm afraid). I haven't had time to merge in any of the
points raised in the discussion of QCS either. Please try not to nit
pick the details, they are likely to change, but other than that feel
free to rip the ideas apart :)

It is likely that I will be unable to respond to any points raised for
at least a week as I will be travelling, so I'll try and answers any
questions once I return, as well as flesh out the design.
