Right. That at least explains the address. You know there is a school
of thought that says that if you can code it, you can write it in english,
too.  :-)

Anyway, we can use the chatter, if nothing else. Explain away.

Basically, ACK. I'm not promising I can write much or anything at
all, being a overworked underpaid sysadmin might be a factor in that.
But if I had the time the first I'd work on is to stabilize the build
environment so I don't have to chase five gnu tools to whatever is the
latest version this week just to be able to build the latest development
versions of Y. Then having shots at building apis would become easier
for me, and I'd imagine for others as well.
