Merging also takes a significant amount of time, which you have probably
noticed I don't have a lot of.  Nearly all of the time I have spent on Y
in the last couple of months has been reading and replying to the mailing
list, and looking at peoples' patches.

I've already said that I won't merge new widgets or widget features until
the theming engine is in a state I am happy with.  All the patches I have
in my patch queue are for new widgets (Andy's patches which I am merging
tonight notwithstanding).
