Most of the complaints made on this list seem to be founded on a 
fundamental misunderstanding: that substantial development work is being 
done by the lead project developers that isn't then being published.

I don't understand how you've came to this conclusion, but it certainly 
isn't true for me; my day job keeps me so busy that, by the time I 
finish work for the day, I need any remaining moments of the day to 
rest.  The last I heard from Phil or Mark, they were both in a similar 
situation.

Until that changes, patches from us are going to be a little thin on the 
ground.
