Though it is a separate problem to solve, they _are_ logically related.
Some thought needs to go into this (later).

To illustrate, a few years ago when I was at university, it was
commonplace to run applications remotely from other, more powerful, lab
machines.  These machines could be in use by another student at the same
time, of course.  On more than one occasion a student was surprised by
their machine suddenly starting to play music.  Another student had
forgotten they were logged into this machine remotely and had started xmms
or some other audio application (they were usually equally confused as to
why their machine _wasn't_ playing the audio).
