 Yep. I use this simple tool made by myself for that purpose:

 You just need the SDL_mixer library installed, as well as the headers for 
compilation.
 It doesn't support pretty stuff like a playlist, but it does its ugly job of 
playing musics rather well. See the README for examples of usage.
