well, that's funny. I was just about to answer this e-mail with a
resounding YES, ME TOO, but um, I can't. I can say that I used to have
these problems constantly. I have a Clie NX70V with a 128M MS and a
512M CF. I used to have so many problems with MS Import and the linux
kernel that I gave up and bought a $20 6-in-1 USB2 Sandisk
reader/writer, which NEVER has problems and works wonderfully.
But anyway, like I was saying, using MSImport and mounting the drive in
linux used to be VERY flaky for me when I was running 2.6.x kernels and
SuSE (many times didn't work, sometimes worked, but resulted in data
corruption on the MS and a kernel panic). But I just tried it now and
it seemed to at least mount okay. I'm running Fedora core2, with their
2.6.5-1.358 kernel. I just tried MSImport now and what got recognized
was my CF card (512M) (instead of my 128M memorystick). So, I'm not
sure what that means.
I don't have much faith in MSImport and the linux kernels, so I'll be
sticking to my reader/writer. =3D:/
