Hi. I've got a SL10/E that was a royal pain to get to
work back in the day, but I managed to sync it at last with
several linux machines, at least two times out of each five ;)

Recently, it crashed in a very bad way, and I've been
unable to get it to sync again, using the same setup as usual,
and starting from zero. I've tried everything imaginable, even
the SUDS cure for the Palm m50x's.

What annoys me the most is that after the SUDS cure at
least it can sync under WindowsXP, but that is of no use for
me. I just can't stand the Clie's Palm desktop for windows
since it has ruined my data more than once, and is unable to do
things as easy as setting the time on the palm; nothing to say
about the plugins I've got in jpilot.

The most info I've been able to get is that I've got
the "error -32 getting connection info" under syslog. I can
post a full syslog entry with debug activated for visor.o if
        somebody wants it.

Now that Sony has quit the handheld market it's not
very difficult to avoid getting a Clie, but I suppose I
wouldn't buy another one anyway. I always liked the features
and innovative attitude of the Clie line a lot, but the folks
at Sony simply do not deserve our praise as linux users; try to
get to compile their version of POSE if you want to know what I
mean. Given that, I still like the little thing, at least until
        I try to sync :)

Thanks in advance for your help in the subject.
