                Hi. I've got a Clie too, and I tried sync'ing with evo
        once, but didn't like it since I had to chmod the device file
        to a+rw in order to get gnome-pilot to access it. 

                I think it has something to do with weird opening and
        closing of file descriptors within the combo evo+gpilotd, but
        didn't bothered very much, pilot-link or jpilot do the trick
        most of the times just fine for me.

                Given that, I've got to admit that the idea of sync'ing
        my palm with one of these exchange servers is nice. It's a pity
        that the conduits in gnome-pilot do work much worse than any
        other that I've tried, even the original windows' palm desktop
        ones.
