You need to have visor and usbserial loaded, which you appear to have. I found that I needed ttyUSB0 to sync. The final thing is that you may need to sync with jpilot once after booting before using pilot-link. I still have to that with my SJ33. For some reason jpilot does something when it syncs that allows pilot-link to work. Make sure you are using current versions of both programs. Use "-p usb:/dev/pilot", assuming /dev/pilot is linked to the ttyUSB0 in the pilot-xfer command line. Also, start the hotsync on the Clie before starting pilot-xfer.
