Calendar Alarm not working on Nokia 770

Overall the applications appear to work nicely.  However, I have not
been able to get the alarm to work on the calendar application.  I am
able to set the alarm, using the alarm checkbox, choosing the time
type (minutes, hours, days etc) and save it.  But it does not appear
that the alarm works, I receive no visual or audio indication of an
alarm.

Is there another setting I am not finding?
