At least for vEvents (calendaring events), normally in .ics files,
gpe-calendar in CVS has quite good import and export facilicities (if
you have problems, let me know!).  The main limitation is that
gpe-calendar does not understand "first monday of month" type
recurrences.  This is actually my next project so this limitation will
disappear in the near future.
