A small clarification

hi all,

    Currently we are my organization are developing a handheld terminal, 
with _Linux_ kernel version 2.4.7. For which we are not planning on 
using frame buffer.

    we wish to run tiny xserver, with matchbox window manager on top of 
it, with some GPE applications. I am not sure if i do understand this well.

    Since we have a customized board and processor, there has to be 
loads of code changes incorporated. First of all i wish to know if this 
is the right channel to continue?. If it is, i did like to get a small 
glimse of the whole thing so that i can speed up the development process.
