  So far, I'd like to have just userland work nicely in QEMU, so am using
ARM IntegratorCP emulation and kernel build for it (via Richard
Purdie's qemuarm machine from OE.dev).

  Yes, adding full PXA/other CPUs/other devices emulation sounds good
and interesting, and I'm afraid, given all the Power Mangement issues
different ports have, we won't get past it. Andrzej's work on PalmTE2
emulation looks really encouraging and motivating. I hope to work in
that direction as time permits.
