i guess you want to compile for the Familiar 0.8.4 rc1 image. I'm not sure if
there is a official toolchain for these, but i guess this one should work:

It runs on x86 32bit Linux systems only, the archive needs to be unpacked to /.
The environment variables to be used are:
PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/arm/oe/arm-linux/lib/pkgconfig/
PATH=/usr/local/arm/oe/bin:$PATH
